Dr Dan was asked to make a comment on this and said:

“It is incumbent upon Westminster (Labour Party) to urgently follow up on the public consultation led by the previous Conservative government to urgently regulate the nonsurgical cosmetic sector and close the loopholes allowing the sale and acquisition of non-licensed and counterfeit prescription medicines online to protect the public.”

Botulinum toxin is injected into the face to reduce fine lines and wrinkles and Dr Dan suspects the product administered was counterfeit, and emphasises the importance of ensuring you are acquiring a genuine product through reputable and trusted channels.
